Name // Mirany Yuusetsuno
Age // 11
Gender // Female
Occupation // A waitress at Gaku's Cafe
Likes // Bunnies, chocolate, lettuce, dancing, singing, drawing.
Dislikes // Onions, eggplant, thunder, small dark places.
Personality // Mirany has a loud personality, but it's as if the volume is on mute. When she first meets someone, she is shy and quiet beyond belief, always nervous about the impression she is giving off. She will speak very little, making her responses seem like curt retorts. Around people she knows and is comfortable around, however, she can be very outgoing and cheerful. It all really depends on who she is around, where she is, and how many people are there.
Although her personality can be very different based on who she's around, there are some attributes about her that never change. She always does her best, no matter what she's doing, and tries her absolute hardest. Whether its an old friend or a complete stranger, she tries to please everyone. The phrase she lives by is, "There's nothing as rewarding as helping someone." She tends to worry about everyone around her, and puts them before herself. She wants people to like her and worries about what everyone thinks of her.
Her appearance gives off a frail, innocent, and clueless effect, which, in fact, is true. She knows very little about how hard the real world can be, and there are many things she does not understand.
One things about her that sets her apart from most people is her courage, commitment, and values. She is brave beyond anyone else her age or size. When she starts something, she sticks to it until the very end. She is firm about her beliefs, and it takes a lot to waver her opinion. When her mind is set to something, she will carry it out until the task has been fulfilled, and there is very little that can change that. Whether its her beliefs, values, or ideas, she'll stick with it. Consequences mean nothing to her as long as she's doing what she believes is right, what her heart tells her.
Mirany has a good heart and a strong unyielding will. She fights better when she has a reason to fight, or when she has her friends with her, and uses her keyblade as a weapon and some basic magic skills. Her small size makes her very quick and agile. Sometimes, Mirany's kindheartedness makes her too trusting of people, which could lead to her ultimate downfall. She isn't very strong with her keyblade, but knows how to use it and takes care of herself. Sometimes, she keeps all of her emotions and problems hidden inside herself, thus withdrawing herself and hiding from society.
She is not afraid of many things, but among the few things that can scare her is thunder, and men.
History // Mirany was born the youngest of eleven children. Her mother died giving birth to her, so she grew up as the only girl with ten brothers and her father. The influence her family had on her caused her to be somewhat of a "tomboy," although she enjoys things like cooking and her favorite color remains pink. When she was just four years old, an epidemic within her family killed off most of her brothers. As a result of that, she was left with her oldest and sixth oldest brothers, and her father.
Her oldest brother had already graduated college, and was about fifteen years older than her, and her other surviving brother was about five to ten years older than her. One day, Mirany's oldest brother left without a word to pursue his career as a doctor in America. It was then that their father couldn't take it anymore. He had always taken drugs and drank, but when he was left with just one son and one daughter, he exceeded the limit of safety. He started to spend all his money at the bar, and, the once high-class rich family quickly turned to live in the slums of the city without any money or support.
That didn't affect Mirany's father at all; he still gambled and drank. But, he wasn't able to adjust to the poor life so easily, so he took out his anger on Mirany. Every day, when he would come home, he would beat her and abuse her. At that time, she was just six years old. He told her that she was "stupid and dirty" and that he wished he had had another son instead of her. He blamed the death of the rest of their family on her, and soon, she began to believe that was true. Once an outgoing, vibrant girl, she began to withdraw within herself. Her remaining brother, with whom she had become very close to, noticed the change in her and confronted their father. In his anger of being "accused of a crime he had not committed," he brutally attacked his son and, torn between leaving his father or staying with his sister, the last brother left, too. Of course, he blamed his son's abrupt departure on Mirany, and her punishment beatings became even worse. Sometimes, he would even lock her in a small, dark closet, which is the key reason she is claustrophobic.
The drunk father, however drunken he may have been, strategically hit her in places where no one could see. As a result of that, scars mar her pale skin on her arms, stomach, chest, legs, and back.
Mirany had become more and more withdrawn, and thus focused on her studies more and more. Her scores in school were skyrocketing, and thus, she was able to skip one year of middle school.
One day, Mirany's father never came home from the bar. She sat on the porch waiting for the entire day and part of the day after, but he still never came. A few days later, she received news that he had died from over dosage of drugs. Her house was sold and Mirany rented out a three room apartment with the money, and applied for a job at the local cafe. She continued her education in school.
Looks // Mirany has silky straight black hair with a tint of violet in it that comes up a few inches above her shoulders in the front, but is cut to her neckline in the back. Her pale large eyes are set in a round, childlike face, and her skin is very pale, almost an ivy-white color. Her eyes are a deep violet color. Her bangs are parted at the right and fall over her eyes in some places, and her body is thin and petite, and she is about 4'9" and weighs 79 lbs. She always wears a silver heart-shaped key on a thin silver chain around her neck, which belonged to her mother before she passed away. Scars and bruises are all over her body from when she lived with her father.
Mirany usually wears a sleeveless white halter dress that ends a few inches above her knees. Two ribbons from the dress tie around her neck and a light pink hood is attached to the back of them. Her left wrist is adorned with a light pink wrist band, and her left hand wears a light pink glove with the fingers cut in half (it's hard to describe...). Her upper arms have white ribbons tied and criss-crossing on them, and on her feet she wears white boots with pink laces that lace through her boots and tie up her ankles. Around her neck she wears a silver heart shaped key necklace on a thin silver chain.
